PBBooking 2.4.5.1 Beta Now Available with Google Calendar

In case you’ve been wondering what I have been working on I’m really excited to say that I have just announced the first beta version of PBBooking with Google Calendar support.

This is a beta version so if you decided to run on a live site please back up your site before doing so. I have been running this on one of our production sites and behaviour is stable, though function wise it is not 100% complete yet.

Currently the following functions have not been integrated:

• Editing events created in PBBooking will not currently update the event in Google Calendar
• Error checking and communication failures with Google Calendar are not elegantly handled
• Google passwords stored in PBBooking are not currently encrypted
• Manage diaries and calendar editing interfaces have not yet been migrated to bootstrap

PBBooking 2.4.4 Now Available

This is an update release of the subscriber version of PBBooking. This version includes new functionality and refactoring of existing code:

• Initial implementation of Joomla! Access Control List (initial rules include browse calendar, create event, delete event)
• Initial implementation of self service interface to allow clients to delete upcoming appointments (if permissions allow)
• Merge 2.5 & 3.0 version for single install file.

PBBooking 2.4.3 Now Available

This is an update release of the subscriber version of PBBooking. This version includes new functionality and one feature enhancement fix:

• Adds support for creating surveys for clients.
• Sends survey request specified numbers of days after treatment.
• Allows the announcement on the dashboard (these messages) to be turned off.

This is an update release of the subscriber version of PBBooking. This version includes very minor new functionality

• Implements configuraiton option to block non trading days in single page view. does not include blocked days as these are specific to calendars
• Fixes somes strings that were not translating correctly
